Our Week of Culture has provided the children with a wonderful opportunity to learn about the many cultures that make up Britain. In just 1 week, they have experienced the culture and traditions of India, Japan, Italy, Germany, Poland, South Africa and Jamaica.

Today, the pupils came together in their houses to share their own cultural backgrounds. On behalf of the staff and children I would like to thank Daxa who shared the traditions of India and her Hindu faith, Mr Kojima who gave the pupils a taste Japan, Mrs Herbert who shared the delights of Italy, The Stevens Family and their German friends, Malte and Bärbel and to all of you who provided food and artefacts for the children to share. These contributions to our week made the experience for our pupils more hands on, realistic and thoroughly enjoyable. Please do have a look at the photos on the school website.
